BUS SERVISE

The Bus Depot is situated at Fira. Every departure and arrival is taken place at the central square of Fira and there are no direct lines from one part of the island to the other. However the bus service is very regular especially on summer months and well organized. Destinations include Akrotiri, Athinios (the ferry pier), Ia, Kamari, Monolithos(the airport), Perissa, Perivolos.

TAXI SERVICE

The main taxi stand is just bellow Fira square. All taxis charge extra fees for carrying luggage, for night-time service, and for orders by telephone. All taxis have a minimum charge of 2 Euro.

CAR / BIKE HIRE

As on most island, hiring a car/bike is the most convenient way to get around the island. Rent a car or a bike from reliable companies and visit villages and beaches that busses cannot reach.
